The Call of Abram and Lot's Departure

Abram, initially a resident of Ur of the Chaldeans, received a divine call to leave his land and people. He obeyed, taking with him his family and nephew Lot. Our first coloring page illustrates this significant moment.

However, a dispute arose between Abram's and Lot's herdsmen over pasture lands. Displaying wisdom, Abram proposed a peaceful solution: "Let's part. If you go to the left, I'll go to the right; if you go to the right, I'll go to the left." (Genesis 13:9, NIV) The second coloring page depicts this peaceful separation.

Abram's Encounter with Melchizedek

After settling in Canaan, Abram met King Melchizedek of Salem. Melchizedek, who was also a priest of El Elyon (God most high), brought out bread and wine and blessed Abram. In response, Abram gave him a tenth of everything. Our third coloring page brings this interesting encounter to life.

This episode instills the principle of tithing and recognizing God's authority over all other authorities. Moreover, it highlights the importance of unity and mutual respect, even among differing cultures and creeds.

Lot's Captivity and Abram's Rescue

Lot, who settled in the prosperous but wicked city of Sodom, was eventually taken captive by four enemy kings. Abram, learning of his nephew's plight, mustered a team of trained servants to rescue Lot. The fourth coloring page shows Abram leading this daring mission.

This episode emphasizes the importance of family and the courage to defend the innocent. It also underscores the power of loyalty and unity, as Abram's team successfully rescued Lot and his family.

The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

Sodom's inhabitants grew increasingly wicked, committing grave sins against humanity. God decided to send angels to investigate, who found the city's crimes to be as great as reported. The fifth coloring page features these angels standing amidst Sodom's destruction.

The angels then warned Lot and his family to flee Sodom, as the city was about to be utterly destroyed.Without looking back, they escaped, while God rained down fire and brimstone, destroying Sodom and the neighboring city of Gomorrah. The sixth coloring page depicts the fiery Judgment upon the rebellious cities.

The каждой точке (Miraculous Escape of Lot's Wife)

Despite the angels' warning not to look back, Lot's wife disobeyed and glanced back at the burning cities. As a result, she was turned into a pillar of salt. This tragic event serves as a stark warning against disobedience and the dangers of yielding to worldly temptations.

The seventh and final coloring page captures this heart-wrenching moment, offering a compelling visual aid to discuss the importance of obedience and self-control with children.
