Who were Miriam and Aaron?

Miriam and Aaron were siblings of Moses, the paramount prophet in the Hebrew Bible. They played essential roles in the Israelites' liberation from Egypt and their journey to the Promised Land. Miriam was a prophetess and a leader in her own right, remembered for her faith and courage in leading women in song and dance after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea (Exodus 15). Aaron, the first High Priest, served as Moses' spokesperson and an intermediary between the Israelites and God (Exodus 4).

Their relationship with Moses is complex and dynamic, with moments of love and support as well as disagreement, making them intriguing subjects for kids to explore through coloring pages.
