The Lorax Coloring Book Adventures
Bock of brindle, barbaloots' brumble, anduffle-append age. But I said, "Speak for me! Don't write on me!" "You're falling into your slumps," he said, "your thneeds, they're not up to much!"
The Lorax, in a voice that was sharp and grotesque, "I'm against things that I haven't got!" But hush now, and listen, for I have a tale to tell. About the Once-ler, and his adventures in this story well.
The Lorax: Who Was He?
The Lorax, you see, was the speaker for the trees. With tufts on his head, and a face you'd never see. He stood for the Truffula forest, when its end was nigh. A warning he gave, to a Once-ler who'd go sky-high.
But who was the Once-ler, you may ask, with such curiosity? A man who'd chop down all Truffula trees, for the profits he'd earn, oh so quickly. Yet, he didn't listen, to the Lorax's plea. Which led to the end, of the Truffula trees.
The Creation of Thneeds
You see, the Once-ler had a bright idea, a shirt that would please any Era. The thneeds were born, from the Truffula tufts. A versatile garment, with no need for puffs.
They multitasked, these thneed wonders, in rain or in snow. In the blistering heat or the cold wind's blow. Yet, the forest was silent, its Truffula trees gone. For the Once-ler's greed grew, as he sought to carry on.
The Lorax's Plaintive Cry
The Lorax, saddened, watched the forest fade. He cried out his warning, for trees were to lay at bay. "Stop!" he shouted, "your greed is a plague! You're destroying our home, for profit's sake!"
But still, the Once-ler chopped, with no care or remorse. Until one Truffula tree, the last, he'd ignore. The Lorax, he left, with a lonely, lagoon-side cry. The Once-ler looked back, as his Truffula trees died.
Lessons Learned: The Lorax's Legacy
The Lorax's tale, taught us a lesson so clear. We must protect our forests, hold them dear. For without trees, and the life that they give, our world would be barren, our planet bereft.
Each of us has a role, to play in this plight. To care for our environment, and do what's right. Recycle, reuse, and make every action, a Loraxial response.
Hiji-Kwent: The Parable's End
In the end, the Once-ler, with tears in his eyes. Watched his Truffula forest, under the gray skies. He placed a button, on a silly old tree. And left behind, his thneeds making spree.
The Lorax, he returned, his warning complete. And together, they planted, a Truffula seed, in the Once-ler's heart, a hope began. A story of redemption, in Dr. Seuss's land.
So, let's make a promise, to care and to share. To protect our world, and the living air. And remember the Lorax, and his orange fur. For he speaks for the trees, forevermore.
